ABOUT ERIKA GAVA

Hi, I’m Erika Gava, a photographer originally from Mexico and now based in the Netherlands. My last name, Gava, is a combination of my two family names—a tribute to both sides of my heritage and the foundation of who I am.

Photography has been my lifelong passion, enriched by my love for storytelling and observing the world. Together with my husband, I share a deep love for traveling, which inspires my work and fuels my creativity.

I’ve honed my craft through studies in Mexico, classes in NYC, and the Netherlands, and I've participated in photography workshops in Cuba and Spain. These experiences have shaped my unique approach to capturing moments that connect and resonate.
